Weekly pictures (weeks 1-4)
When Maddy was a baby we took weekly pictures next to the big teddy bear I got from Kev (our first Christmas 11 years ago). That way we could see her growing. We decided to do that with Kameron too. Here are the first four weeks. The first week he was on the light bed for his jaundice, so no Kameron. Each week I will update with a new picture. He we go...
My little eatin' machine
Kameron had his one month check up today. Only one shot this time. Next time four. He is really packing on the pounds. He weighed in at a whopping 9 lbs 5 ozs. That is 3 lbs since his one week check up. Holy smokes. No wonder why I can't keep up with his feedings. He is sucking me dry. The doctor said everything looks great. I can't believe a whole month has already gone by. wow.

Great news!
The call from the nurse today was the best news! Kameron's jaundice levels went down to 13.5 enough to let us take him off the phototherapy. Kevin and I fight over who gets to hold him and even change him. Maddy rushed home from gymnastics tonight to see her baby brother and started saying it was her turn to hold him.
Here is a picture of Daddy hanging out with Maddy and Kameron for the first time in 4 days. What a great night!

Another update
I got a call from the nurse today and his level has dropped to 16.2
She seemed pretty excited about how fast his numbers are dropping. Yeah!
Thanks for the prayers Katie!

Update
I just got a call from the nurse and Kameron's jaundice level has dropped to 19.6
She seemed really happy with those numbers. Hopefully just a couple more days.

My little trooper
Kameron has been diagnosed with a bad case of Jaundice. At his check up yesterday, they had us go back to the hospital to have blood drawn and tested. What a tough boy, didn't even cry. It came back at level 21 (any higher and we would have been admitted, I think.) I think the average that doctor's like to see is around 10.
Last night a nurse brought out the phototherapy equipment. Kameron has to hang out on this light "bed" at all times except when eating. Mommy is taking this harder than he is. I hate not being able to hold him when I want to. A nurse will be by everyday to take blood to test if his levels have gone down.
We also have to supplement with a bottle. Maddy was the first one to feed him that way. She thought she was pretty cool.
I will keep you posted on what his levels are.

Welcome Baby Kameron
Our family is now complete with the addition of Kameron Milton.
After six hours, and a few minor speed bumps, Kameron joined us on January 30th at 2:06 in the afternoon. He weighed 6lbs 13ozs and was 19 inches long. So far he is doing great. I find myself just staring at him. He is so perfect. Maddy can't seem to get enough of him either. She holds him every chance she gets.
Kevin and I would like to thank everybody who stopped by to see us, and those who couldn't for the emails or phone calls wishing us well. We are blessed to have such a wonderful family.
